Rev. JOHN RAVI A.R. Born on May 3, 1957, in Bangalore, Rev. John Ravi emerged from an orthodox Hindu family, embarking on a transformative journey that would shape the destiny of many.

Rev. John Ravi's life narrative is a testimony to the miraculous power of faith. From humble beginnings in an orthodox Hindu family to encounters with God that changed the trajectory of his life, his story is one of spiritual awakening and resilience. Despite the challenges of his upbringing, including the loss of his father, Rev. John Ravi found solace and purpose in the pages of the Bible. His quest for answers led him to a profound encounter with God, revealing the true essence of divine love.

Amidst personal struggles and a lack of formal education, Rev. John Ravi's unwavering faith in the words of Matthew 6:33 became a guiding light. As he sought the truth and righteousness in his life, doors opened—securing employment to support his family and imparting him with the knowledge to read and write. His family, once skeptical of Christianity, gradually embraced the teachings of Jesus Christ, marking the beginning of a generational legacy of faith.

The journey continued as Rev. John Ravi actively served the Lord, working in HAL school and instilling the values of faith in his children. His commitment to seeing others embrace the teachings of the Bible became a driving force, leading him to establish the New Testament Church in 1999.
